We're raising funds to purchase backpacks, school supplies, and essential items for kids in grades K-5.
Let's support children and families with a successful school year.
For many parents/caregivers, purchasing their child's school supplies can be challenging and stressful. We are working to ensure families across San Francisco can feel confident and secure this August.
When kids are prepared for the school year with a backpack full of the necessary supplies, they gain a sense of independence and increase their self-esteem. By providing backpacks, classroom materials, and essential items, we can reduce the barriers that prevent children’s ability to learn and succeed.
Your support will help us provide 150 children entering grades K-5 with the items they need to thrive!
Each child will receive supplies that include:
- A new backpack
- Notebooks and paper
- Colored pencils, crayons, and markers
- Pencils, sharpeners, and erasers
- Scissors, glue, a 12″ ruler, and a pencil case
- Folders and binders
- Socks
- Sunscreen
- A reusable water bottle
